Sarah McCulloch is a hairdresser, session stylist, and cutting educator with over 30 years of experience and a lifelong passion for elevating the craft of cutting.

From the early days of being handed a comb and scissors with no guidance, to training with world class educators and earning a teaching degree, Sarah has built her career on determination, curiosity, and the belief that great education changes everything.

She owns a salon in Paisley where she specialises in working with all hair textures — ensuring every client and every model feels safe, seen, and expertly cared for. Her work spans from behind the chair to the creative world, including avant-garde projects and photoshoots through The Fellowship for British Hairdressing, where she took part in Project X in 2023.

As an educator, Sarah teaches group cutting classes, bespoke one-to-one training, and creates digital cutting guides that break down classic shapes and modern techniques in a simple, accessible way. Her mission is to help hairdressers gain confidence, understand structure, and master the shapes that form the foundation of every haircut.
